Harvard and Northeastern are headed to the Beanpot final, giving each teams a boost in our power rankings heading into the stretch run.

Welcome to FloHockey's weekly power rankings for men's NCAA hockey. Find out which teams across the country rise, fall or stay put as the weekly series unfold in the 2022-2023 season.

1. Minnesota | Last Ranking 1

Record: 20-7-1

The Gophers were off last weekend as they prepare for their final six games of the Big Ten conference season. They've got four straight road tilts including a Border Battle on the road at Wisconsin this weekend. With one of the most potent offensive attacks in the country, Minnesota boasts eight players with 20 or more points this season.

2. Quinnipiac | Last Ranking: 2

Record: 22-3-3

A 3-0 shutout of Harvard and a 4-2 win over Datmouth runs the Bobcats winning streak back up to four. Quinnipiac is back on track and have been their usual stingy selves. That bodes well as the postseason looms. The Bobcats remain the nation's toughest team to score against, averaging just 1.8 goals against per game.

3. Boston University | Last Ranking: 3

Record: 20-7-0

The Terriers are licking their wounds after a 3-1 loss to Northeastern at the Beanpot. They'll play rival Boston College in the consolation game next week. Before that loss to the Huskies, however, BU was rolling. They had won their previous seven games and seemed to have hit their stride. Meanwhile, defenseman Lane Hutson (MTL) continues to be one of the nation's most impactful freshmen with 36 points in 26 games.

4. Michigan | Last Ranking: 6

Record: 18-9-1

The Wolverines picked up another sweep as they rolled past Wisconsin while scoring 13 goals over the two games. Freshman Adam Fantilli has opened up a five-point lead in the NCAA scoring race with 45 points in just 24 games. He's having one of the best freshman campaigns on record and was recently named the national player of the month for January. Michigan continues to pick up steam as they head into a big rivalry weekend with Michigan State.

5. Denver | Last Ranking: 5

Record: 21-7-0

A light week for the Pioneers included just one game against local rival Colorado College. Denver handled the Tigers with a 4-1 win. Currently in first place in the NCHC by two points, the Pioneers have eight games in conference play remaining in the regular season to try and keep their hold on the top seed.

6. St. Cloud State | Last Ranking: 4

Record: 18-8-2

Though the Huskies beat Miami in a shootout in both games, those go down as ties in the national records and that makes St. Cloud winless in their last four. The ties to Miami were particularly confounding as SCSU is now 1-1-2 against the last place team in the NCHC. It won't get easier as St. Cloud has two road series coming up against North Dakota and Omaha before closing out the regular season against Minnesota Duluth. The Huskies get time to gear up for that stretch, though, as they're off this weekend.

7. Harvard | Last Ranking: 7

Record: 16-6-1

Despite a tough loss to Quinnipiac, the Crimson bounced back in a major way by defeating Boston College in the dying seconds of overtime to advance to the Beanpot championship game. The Beanpot can often be a momentum-building event, which gives Harvard a golden opportunity to springboard into the stretch run here. They'll meet Northeastern in the final on Monday.

8. Western Michigan | Last Ranking: 10

Record: 19-10-1

The Broncos traveled up to Minnesota Duluth and came away with a pair of wins and have now won nine of their last 10 games. They're just two points out of first place in the NCHC and keep winning despite leading scorer Ryan McAllister going without a point in his last five games. It just shows that WMU's offense is diversified well enough where they don't have to be carried by one or two players.

9. Michigan Tech | Last Ranking: 13

Record: 20-7-4

The Huskies continue to look strong for a spot in the NCAA tournament as an at-large berth. Michigan Tech is currently 10th in the Pairwise rankings after sweeping Bemidji State on the road. That sweep gave the Huskies nine wins over their last 11 games. Goaltender Blake Pietila is making a legitimate Hobey Baker case with his play this season with a .932 save percentage over 29 appearances.

10. Penn State | Last Ranking: 8

Record: 19-10-1

A split at Ohio State was not a bad result on its own, but the Nittany Lions have won just two of their last eight games. They've not had the level of consistency or defensive prowess that seemed to drive their success this season. Their inability to prevent goals over the last two weeks was part of their downfall. If they can find the game they had earlier this season, they're a major threat.

11. Ohio State | Last Ranking: 9

Record: 17-10-1

The Buckeyes got the split against Penn State, which was their third straight series split in Big Ten play. Ohio State is closing out their Big Ten schedule with a brutal stretch that includes series against Notre Dame, Michigan and Minnesota. They'll certainly be battle tested as they head into the postseason.

12. Cornell | Last Ranking: 12

Record: 15-7-1

A two-win weekend capped by a rousing 10-1 win over Union has Cornell heading in the right direction. They're currently 12th in the Pairwise, which gives them a good shot at an at-large bid. The Big Red are unbeaten in 10 of their last 12 games, too.

13. Minnesota State | Last Ranking: 11

Record: 19-10-1

The Mavericks' eight-game winning streak came to an end at the hands of St. Thomas, which secured its first ever win over MNSU Friday in overtime. They bounced back with a 5-2 win the next night to keep a narrow one-point lead for first place in the CCHA. Michigan Tech is right on their heels and the two teams will meet in the final weekend of the regular season later this month.

14. UConn | Last Ranking: 14

Record: 17-8-3

With wins in four of their last five games, the Huskies are starting to find their stride again. A 4-3 win over Northeastern in overtime last weekend puts them right track for home ice in the Hockey East tournament. Freshman Matthew Wood has taken the reins of the offense with a team-best 27 points in 28 games. UConn heads on the road to play New Hampshire before opening their new building in Storrs Feb. 23.

15. Northeastern | Last Ranking: 16

Record: 14-10-3

The Huskies are heading to the Beanpot final after handing Boston University a 3-1 loss at TD Garden. Goaltender Devon Levi (BUF) has been back on track after some midseason struggles and Aidan McDonough (VAN) continues to score. They're playing some of their best hockey of late, which is really good timing.

16. Omaha | Last Ranking: 15

Record: 14-10-2

The Mavericks were idle this weekend as they prepare for their final eight games of the tough NCHC schedule. Goaltender Simon Latkoczy was named the national goalie of the month for January. Over 11 games this season, the Slovak netminder is 7-2-0 with a .932 save percentage and appears to have earned the No. 1 job the rest of the way.
