OTTAWA – The 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship is among the most memorable I’ve covered. The storylines were incredible, the results sometimes shocking and we were introduced to so many personalities over the course of the tournament that hockey fans will remember for a long time.

OTTAWA – The preliminary round is over and the quarterfinals are set. Team USA and Team Sweden have won their respective groups, earning the top seeds as the elimination round has begun.

OSHAWA, Ontario – Team CHL scored in the opening minute and final minute of regulation to earn a 3-2 win and the sweep of Team USA in the inaugural CHL USA Prospects Challenge. Cole Reschny scored with 1:12 to play in regulation to seal the victory and the sweep, sending the partisan crowd home happy.

The CHL has named its captains for this month’s CHL-USA Prospects Challenge as Porter Martone will wear the C and be joined by alternate captains Caleb Desnoyers, Blake Fiddler and Matthew Schaefer.

The 2024 IIHF Men’s World Under-18 Championship is a great opportunity for top NHL Draft prospects to make a strong last impression on scouts. There are plenty of players that have more to prove and more to show, which makes this tournament a big one for a lot of players.

Canada’s 2024 World Junior Championship and quest for a third consecutive gold medal ended today in Gothenburg in a quarterfinal loss to the Czechs. This is the first time since 2019 in Vancouver that Canada has failed to reach the final game of the tournament, having appeared in each of the last four gold-medal games.

As Canada prepares to go for its third consecutive gold medal at the 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship, they'll do so with a lineup that is light on experience, but long on talent. Hockey Canada has had to shuffle its roster in the days leading up to the tournament, however, leaving some uncertainty about their ultimate medal hopes.

Canada’s bid for three straight gold medals at the World Junior Championship hit an important milestone Monday as the roster for Hockey Canada’s selection camp was announced. Thirty players will be competing for spots on the final roster and as usual, Canada will enter the tournament with a great chance at being champion.

As we close the book on the 2023 NHL Draft, we’re already looking ahead to 2024. While we don’t have another Connor Bedard to track, we will have some exceptional talents that have potential to rise up the ranks throughout the season.

Every year, there are a number of players I’ve gotten some views on that I liked, but probably not enough to include in a top 100. There will be 224 players selected over June 28-29 and probably as many as 350 players that have a reason to believe they at least have a chance to be drafted.
