USA Hockey began its quest for the 2025 IIHF World Juniors Championship on Dec. 26 in Ottawa, Canada. Team USA played the first game of the tournament against Germany, winning 10-4.

USA Hockey took the top seed in Group A, beating with Germany, Canada, and Latvia and lost to Finland in overtime. Group B consists of Slovakia, Sweden, Czechia, Switzerland and Kazakhstan. 

The United States won their group in 2024 en route to the championship game where they beat Sweden 6-2.

How To Watch USA Hockey In The World Junior Quarterfinal

USA Hockey will play Switzerland at 2:30 p.m. ET in the 2025 World Junior Championships quarterfinal, all their games will be played on NHL Network. 

The 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship will air on TSN and RDS on television in Canada. The tournament will be streamed on TSN+ in Canada, as well. 

In the United States, NHL Network will be the television home of the World Junior Championship. Streaming information for USA is not currently available.
