Heading into their third round of play at the 2017 Bauer Motown Classic, Michigan Hockey Advancement’s U18 team was riding a wave of confidence.

A shining example of aggressive, offense-forward hockey, the reigning champions had outscored their last two opponents by point margins of five and four, and were raring for another win to secure their spot in the upper quarterfinal.

When they reached the Taylor Sportsplex to face Michigan Elite Brigade Yellow, their skates were sharp, the ice was slick, and the stage was set for an undeniable show of skill and power.
