The Trail Smoke Eaters evened the game off the stick of Evan Sundar in opening night action in the BCHL, but it was the two big hits behind the net that almost stole the show.

Trail's Judah Markway had the first big hit to create the turnover, then Cooper Cleaves leveled Alex Hebblethwaite, but not before Hebblethwaite made a great pass to Sundar for the goal.

Trail went on to win the game 5-3.
