Brandon Wheat Kings U18 Win Manitoba Title In OT, Complete 40-Game Win Streak

The Brandon Wheat Kings U18 are champions of the Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League, completing one of the most remarkable seasons in recent memory. Brandon won their final game in overtime, beating the Winnipeg Wild 4-3 in overtime to claim the league championship.

Amazingly, the team finished the year on a 40-game winning streak including regular season and playoffs. Their final total record was 52-0-1, with their lone blemish being an overtime loss earlier in the season. During the regular season, Brandon finished with 87 of a possible 88 standings points and out-scored the opposition 270-82.
