Fargo Force's Cole Knuble Scores Last-Minute Goal To Win Game 1 Of The Western Conference Final

Fargo Force forward Cole Knuble scored with 44 seconds remaining in regulation to hand his team a 1-0 win over the Lincoln Stars in Game 1 of the Western Conference Final of the 2023 Clark Cup Playoffs. The goal was Knuble's first of the postseason, coming on a five-on-three power play.

An All-USHL first-team selection this season, Knuble had a career year in the USHL. He has continued to make a case for himself to get picked in the 2023 NHL Draft. 

In addition to Knuble's late-game heroics, the Force got a great performance out of Matej Marinov who stopped a penalty shot earlier in the game and didn't let any of the 21 shots against past the goal line in Game 1.

Fargo now owns a 1-0 series advantage over the Lincoln Stars in this best-of-five series.
