College hockey is over for the season, and fans across the country were devastated when the fallout from COVID-19 dashed conference tournaments and the Frozen Four. But just because we lost the end of the hockey season doesn’t mean we can’t look back at all the awesome moments we witnessed over the 2019-20 campaign.

For that reason, FloHockey is running a series over the next few weeks to spotlight teams from the WCHA and Atlantic Hockey, looking at the top five games from each team. 

Next up: Bemidji State.

While the Minnesota State Mavericks may have won the regular-season WCHA crown, the Beavers were right on their heels the entire time. Tom Serratore's squad was one of the fiercest groups in the country, and finished the season ranked No. 11 in the nation. Bemidji State had just notched a series win vs Lake Superior State and was set to face a red-hot Bowling Green side before the coronavirus canceled proceedings. Some of the Beavers' bright spots this year include a pair of wins over Minnesota State, a tough tie vs powerhouse St. Cloud State, and a win to advance in the WCHA tournament.

Here’s what the schedule looks like for today:

11 AM*: Bemidji State vs St. Cloud State, Oct. 11

1 PM: Bemidji State vs Ferris State, Jan. 3

3 PM: Bemidji State vs Minnesota State, Jan. 25

5 PM: Bemidji State vs Minnesota State, Feb. 28

7 PM: Bemidji State vs Lake Superior State, March 8
