The 2025 NCAA Hockey Tournament began this past weekend, and at the conclusion, fans found out which teams advanced to the Frozen Four at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Mo.

The Denver men's hockey team, the defending champion, won the Manchester regional after defeating Boston College, the No.1 overall seed. This made it the school's second consecutive Frozen Four appearance.

They will face Western Michigan as they defeated UMass in the Fargo regional finals after the Minutemen had a fantastic comeback against Minnesota; this is the Bronco's first time reaching the Frozen Four.

Another team that will make its debut in the Frozen Four is the Penn State Nittany Lions, who won the Allentown regional with an overtime win over UConn.

Lastly, Boston U. advanced to the Frozen Four from the Toledo regional after beating Cornell 3-2. The team is seeking its first title in over a decade.

The Frozen Four will be live on ESPN2 on April 10 at 5:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. ET.

Where is the 2025 Men’s Frozen Four?

St. Louis will host the 2025 NCAA Men’s Frozen Four at Enterprise Center, the home of the NHL’s St. Louis Blues.

How Does The NCAA Hockey Tournament Work?

  • At the beginning of the tournament, teams will compete across four regional sites in single-elimination games, with four teams standing at the end.
  • There are two games in the regional semifinals between these teams for a chance at the regional finals.
  • The winners of the four sites will then advance to the Frozen Four in St. Louis, MO.
  • From there, the two winners will compete for the grand prize in a national championship.
