Ylonen, 25, had 8-17-25 in 47 games with the Syracuse Crunch this season after signing with the Tampa Bay organization last July 1. He had spent all of last season with the Montreal Canadiens, who had selected him in the second round of the 2018 NHL Draft. Before coming to the Lightning last summer, Ylonen had also spent parts of three seasons with the Laval Rocket.
Nashville promptly assigned Ylonen to the Milwaukee Admirals, who are fighting for first place in the Central Division. Nashville management has aggressively retooled the Milwaukee roster this season as forwards Vinnie Hinostroza, Zach L’Heureux, and Fedor Svechkov all moved up to the Predators along with defenseman Nick Blankenburg. Forward Kieffer Bellows and defenseman Jake Livingstone have since gone to Nashville on recall as well. Established AHL forwards Anders Bjork, Chase De Leo, and Scott Reedy have all come to Milwaukee as in-season signings. Nashville also has added defensive help, acquiring Mark Friedman from the Vancouver Canucks on Feb. 7. On Feb. 18, they also acquired AHL All-Star Grigori Denisenko from the Vegas Golden Knights in a bid to boost the Admirals further. Forward Ryder Rolston also came over in a trade from the Chicago Blackhawks on Nov. 27.
Milwaukee (28-18-3-4) has a two-point hold on the Central Division following a 5-3 home win against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Tuesday night. They host the Iowa Wild on Friday night. They have gone 11-4-1-1 dating back to Jan. 19.
Angello, who turns 29 on March 6, had 7-7-14 in 41 games with Milwaukee and will report to the Syracuse Crunch. They are in their own playoff push as they attempt to fend off Belleville and Utica. He dressed for Milwaukee on Tuesday night for the first time since Jan. 31.

Syracuse next plays Friday at home against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
