The World Junior Championships 2025 are upon us, bringing together the world's best junior international squads.

Competition starts on Dec. 26 and will go through Jan. 5, and will feature elite youth prospects the world over.

The championship will be the 49th annual event, and two of the top countries in action during the WJC are Canada and, of course, the United States.

Both of these teams have a rich history in the WJC and will compete in Group A.

Team USA has won gold in the event six times, including beating Sweden 6-2 in Gothenburg this past year. Team Canada has 18 gold medals in the World Juniors, the last coming in 2020.
