FloHockey launched its new original hockey show Friday with the debut of “Called Up: The Prospects Podcast." The new show features seasoned NHL prospects analysts Chris Peters, content manager for FloHockey, and Cam Robinson, content director for Elite Prospects, discussing major topics in the prospects world.

The weekly hour-long program will be available across popular podcast platforms in audio form, with full video of every show on FloHockey.tv, the FloSports app and on FloHockey’s YouTube page.

Social clips from each episode will be shared across FloHockey and Elite Prospects platforms as well.

About The Show

Called Up: The Prospects Podcast, is just that: a show about the future stars of the game. Peters and Robinson will bring their combined decades of experience covering NHL prospects to provide informative, analytical and entertaining content to a growing audience with an insatiable appetite to learn about who is on the way in the hockey world. With a balance of analysis and reporting, Peters and Robinson have become two of the most respected prospects analysts in the game today, representing opinions from both sides of the U.S.-Canada border.

The show will focus on things like the NHL Draft, World Junior Championship, college, junior and professional hockey, with discussions and debates on the biggest news stories and developments happening in the prospect world.

Called Up will feature weekly segments about the American Hockey League, plus the duo will get a little debate going in their “Beyond Belief?” segment that takes a statement about a team, player or topic that they agree with or that is beyond belief. The hosts will also take some time to tackle some hard-hitting questions at the end of each show like, “Would you rather build a team around Connor Bedard or Macklin Celebrini?”

About the Hosts

Chris Peters has been working in hockey for more than 15 years. A seasoned journalist with stops at CBS Sports, ESPN and Daily Faceoff, Peters has covered the prospects beat since 2010. Prior to becoming a writer, Peters worked at USA Hockey in a communications role. In November, Peters was promoted to FloHockey’s Content Manager, overseeing all editorial and visual content for FloSports’ hockey vertical. He previously hosted the Talking Hockey Sense podcast and is a recurring co-host on The Athletic Hockey Show’s prospects series with Max Bultman, Corey Pronman and Scott Wheeler. Peters is based in the United States.

Cam Robinson has been a rising star in the prospects world for years, bringing unique content and analysis to the space in a variety of capacities since 2015. Robinson has been part of Elite Prospects’ hockey coverage for six years and now serves as the site’s content director and director of video scouting. Prior to that, Robinson led the prospects coverage for fantasy hockey outlet Dobber Hockey. He is a regular guest on the Vancouver-based Sekeres & Price Show and can be seen and heard across Elite Prospects’ social media platforms. Robinson is based in Canada. About Episode 1 of Called Up

In Episode 1 Chris and Cam review the World Junior camp rosters for Canada and the United States. Cam reveals his "All-Snub Team" for Hockey Canada.

The duo also debuts their "Beyond Belief?" segment that tackles some of the more interesting trends in the prospect world, like "Is the Matthew Schaefer going No. 1 hype real?"

Chris and Cam also talk about the hottest topic in the prospect world: Now that the NCAA is allowing CHL players, what are the chances 2026 projected No. 1 pick Gavin McKenna goes to school next year? The hosts talk about the possibilities and what they're hearing about them.

In the show's weekly AHL segment, the hosts dive in on the Chicago Wolves and how the young Carolina Hurricanes prospects are faring amid a tumultuous affiliation agreement.

Lastly, every week on this podcast Peters and Robinson will answer one big question and this week it's this: If you could only choose between Connor Bedard or Macklin Celebrini to be the centerpiece of your team, who would you choose and why?
