The Hershey Bears won their first Calder Cup in 1943 and since have won 12 more, including the last two as the Washington Capitals' AHL developmental club is the winningest team in AHL history.

In the 2023-2024 season, the Bears had the best record in the regular season and clinched the 13th Calder Cup by beat the Coachella Valley Firebirds in six games.

It was the time since 2009 and 2010 that the Bears completed back-to-back championships. The Cleveland Barons, which folded in 1973, won nine Calder Cups. The Rochester Americans own the second-most Calder Cup champions among still active teams in the AHL with 6.

Who ever wins the next Calder Cup will do so on FloHockey and the FloSports app, which are the official streaming homes to the AHL.

Here's the complete list of AHL Calder Cup champions.
