But no one was expecting the "Queen of Power Ballads," herself, Celine Dion, to show up at the draft, much less announce a pick.

The Quebecois singer entered the Sphere to a roar of applause and joined the Montreal Canadiens' brass on stage to announce the No. 5 pick for the Habs. 

The Canadiens picked Russian prospect Ivan Demidov with the pick, who then was able to snap a pick with the pop legend.
