New Jersey selected Anton Silayev in the 2024 NHL Draft with the No. 10 pick on June 28 in Las Vegas at the Sphere. 

Silayev fell in the draft a bit, as many analysts expected him be drafted around a top-5 spot. Luckily for the Devils, he landed at No. 10.

Despite lacking the scoring as a defenseman, Silayev brings formidable size to New Jersey, checking in at a massive 6-foot-7, and 207 pounds.
