The Utah Hockey Club Picks Tij Iginla as the sixth pick at the 2024 NHL Draft on June 28 in Las Vegas at The Sphere. 

This pick is the first-ever pick for the Utah Hockey Club as they will join the NHL next season.

Iginla's dad, Jarome Iginla, was also drafted in the first round of the NHL Draft nearly 30 years ago by the Dallas Stars. 

He went five spots higher than his dad. The Iginlas are the sixth father-son duo to go in the first round of the NHL Draft.
