The Anaheim Ducks selected Beckett Sennecke as the No. 3 overall pick of the NHL Draft 2024 at The Sphere in Las Vegas. 

Sennecke was the first shocker of this year's NHL Draft. For many analysts, he was projected to be drafted later in the top 10. FloHockey's mock draft projected Sennecke to be drafted seventh overall.

For the last two seasons, Sennecke played for the Oshawa Generals of the OHL. He scored 47 goals for the team during that time.
