The Florida Panthers have won the 2024 Stanley Cup after a thrilling 7-game series with the Edmonton Oilers ended on June 24 in Miami, Florida. The Panthers won 2-1 avoided a historical collapse after taking a 3-0 lead. 

And now the offseason begins and there's hardly a break. 

The 2024 NHL Draft begins at 7 p.m. June 28 in Las Vegas, Nevada. For more than a month hockey fans have known the order for the first 16 picks of the NHL Draft following the lottery in May.

Now that the Panthers have hoisted the Cup, we know the rest of the order officially.

The Washington Capitals will draft No. 17 while the last two picks of the first round will belong to the Edmonton Oilers and the Philadelphia Flyers, who own the Florida first round pick.
